This charming cottage was built in 1925 and has been well-maintained since that time. Some of its features are an unobstructed view of Lake Huron's waves and sensational sunsets, a private beach, and all the conveniences of home-- including a stove, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, satellite TV with VCR/DVD and phone. Crystal clear water, just steps from the cottage, is shallow for the first twenty five metres--a welcome safety feature for young children. A ten minute walk along a winding, picturesque, lightly-travelled road takes you to popular Inverhuron sandy beach and Ontario's rebuilt and modernized Inverhuron Provincial Park.

LOCATION: A 15 minute drive north of Kincardine in rustic Inverhuron.

AMENITIES: The original Pine Rock cottage combines the old with the new, and offers a fully equipped kitchen with cutlery and dishes, a living room fronting onto an enclosed porch, a three piece bath including walk-in shower, a main floor bedroom and upstairs with three separate sleeping areas. Pillows and duvets provided.

Pine tongue-in-groove throughout backed by sealed insulation, electric baseboard heaters on the porch and 2nd floor and a high capacity propane fireplace insert set into a fieldstone fireplace give year 'round comfort. Appliances include refrigerator, stove, microwave, washer, dryer, and gas BBQ.

A Bell Expressvu satellite TV system with DVD/VCR ensures crystal clear pictures of sports, news and soap operas! A vacant lot at the back allows children to pitch a tent and sleep under the stars--or RV and additional vehicle parking.

RECREATION: Lake Huron, with its clean, clear waters boasts some of the best swimming, windsurfing, sailing and SCUBA diving anywhere. As well, outstanding salmon and trout fishing can be enjoyed, with nearby boat launching facilities at Inverhuron Provincial Park. Flat, lightly travelled local roads are great for safe walking, jogging or cycling.

A ten minute drive brings you to the 9 hole Somerhill golf course just outside Tiverton. Day trips may have you exploring the sights of Port Elgin, Southampton, Sauble Beach, Lions Head and Tobermory.
